Federal City in NOLA proposed

"The offer of a state-of-the-art campus for military and other federal agencies persuaded a federal panel to overrule a Defense Department recommendation that would have closed the base with sites in Algiers and Bywater. Louisiana officials pledged $50 million to $100 million for the project.
