Archer Aviation says its taxis will turn 90 minute drives into 20 minute flights.
Archer Aviation is building an electric air taxi network to transport people throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Austin. The taxis will fly commuters between airports and business hubs within those regions.
Eric E. Garcia writes for Fort Worth Report:
Archer’s air taxi networks “are designed to give Texans an option to skip over traffic on its all-electric Midnight air taxi, turning 60-90 minute drives to major airports, business districts and major destinations into 10-20 minute flights,” officials said in a news release.
Archer plans to connect with five major airports in North Texas, including Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, to business hubs in Frisco and locations in Dallas County.
