The Los Angeles Times, often a vocal critic of subway construction in Los Angeles, has published an extensive series of special reports and first-person vignettes of the new Red Line expansion. Features include a timeline of subway construction from 1980 to present, and a profile of "people in the trenches", such as Virginia Tanzmann and Carl Davis, Architect and designer, and others.
