New rail lines are operational in seven cities in China.

"China has celebrated a flurry of new line openings in the past few days coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1," reportsKevin Smith.
In all, new rail lines opened in seven Chinese cities opened new rail lines and extensions of existing rail lines during a five-day period between September 25 and 29. The spree of rail openings was times to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
