Colorado is taking 'baby steps' toward a thoroughly regulated regime of social marijuana use.

"Licensed marijuana 'tasting rooms' could be operating in Colorado by this time next year if Gov. John Hickenlooper signs a first-of-its-kind bill that state lawmakers sent to his desk Thursday," reports Alicia Wallace.
House Bill 1258 would allow "adults at current recreational marijuana retailers to consume small amounts through edibles or by vaping — as they might a flight of fine whiskeys or craft beers."
The new bill would expand on the steps toward legalized social marijuana uses made earlier in 2018 when the city of Denver approved the nation's first business license to allow marijuana use, although the legalized social use, the Coffee Joint, is a "bring your own weed" establishment.
