A partnership between the Chicago Infrastructure Trust and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel have released a Request for Qualifications to construct a rapid rail line to move passengers between downtown Chicago and O'Hare. Early interest shown in the project includes that of Elon Musk, who tweeted that his infrastructure firm, The Boring Co., will likely submit a bid.
