Anaheim is home to Disneyland, which means there's a large market for short-term rentals. "Opponents said an explosion of short-term rentals in the neighborhoods surrounding Disneyland have created problems, including excessive noise and lack of parking," according to the article, which includes a television report with on-scene footage from the deciding council hearing.
June was a big month for hotel-related issues in Anaheim. Earlier in the month, news broke that Disneyland is seeking a $200 million tax break from the city to build a new luxury hotel.
