"Swiss bridge designer Christian Menn - brought to Buffalo as a visionary who could help resolve the Peace Bridge controversy - recommends a two-tower, cable-stayed design for a new span over the Niagara River. ""In short, Menn recommends something drastically different from the companion span the Peace Bridge Authority originally adopted, though his plan calls for the new bridge to be upriver - passing over Lake Erie - of the current bridge and use the same plaza."
