Opportunity is knocking – register for the AICP exam today
American Planning Association
APA is currently accepting applications for the May 2016 AICP Comprehensive Planning Exam and AICP Advanced Specialty Certification exams.
AICP opens Door Number One
Passing the Comprehensive Planning Exam and earning the AICP credential demonstrates to colleagues and employers that you have the academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and mastery of essential skills required to serve your community effectively. For many employers, “AICP” is shorthand for a planner’s commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and continuing education.
The AICP CPE application window closes on December 31.
ASC opens Door Number Two
Once you’re AICP certified, earning advanced certification in environmental planning (AICP CEP), transportation planning (AICP CTP), or urban design (AICP CUD) attests to your advanced knowledge, experience, and leadership in your chosen planning specialty. Employers and colleagues in related fields will know that you’re among the very best in your field. The Advanced Specialty Certification exams application window closes January 22.
All exams will be administered May 9-22, 2016.
