"Development proposals for downtown Manhattan are bereft of imagination and look backward instead of to the future...If the towers are replaced with bland glass boxes, the glory of Lower Manhattan will have been taken away forever...As expected, we were confronted with the lack of imagination that stems from a blind concern with the bottom line."
