"Ann Arbor's City Council is expected to pass a resolution asking for higher cleanup standards than Michigan requires for the state's Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act. The act, created in 1996, provides financial incentives for developers to redevelop polluted sites, often referred to as Brownfields."
