A theme park in Gilroy, CA, celebrates trees.
"The kids are drawn to the rides, but the idea is that as they walk between rides and through one of four gardens, they will soak in the beauty and learn an appreciation of trees and plants. Hundreds of volunteers have been trained to answer questions, and as you leave the park, you can't help but pass by the nursery where plants are sold as souvenirs...audio/visual presentations teach visitors about geology, good bugs and bad bugs and the importance of trees to the environment, as well as about how the park transports full-grown trees..."
