The Los Angeles Conservancy has prepared a set of guidelines to guide alterations to historic buildings in downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Conservancy, in partnership with three downtown Business Improvement Districts, under a grant from the Getty Grant Program, has prepared a draft set of Design Guidelines for the Historic Downtown Los Angeles. The Design Guidelines describe how alterations and enhancements to buildings within the Historic Downtown can and should be designed. The draft version is available at the link below.
