"Metro plans to spend $4 million to install a global positioning system on its 1,400 buses -- technology that will allow managers to track the movement of every Metrobus and make faster, better dispatching decisions.If approved Thursday by the Metro board, the project would make Metrobus the first of the nation's major transit agencies to install a global positioning system, or GPS, on all its buses."
