A Bold New Museum For Los Angeles

Los Angeles has some exciting new buildings: Disney Hall, the Cathedral, the Getty. Now, there may be another.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is ho-hum: it was restored, but beyond architectural redemption. Now there is a Koolhaas design to bring architectural drama to Wilshire Boulevard. The new design will cost between $200 and $300 million. But it will bring ohhs and ahhs to the Los Angeles sky line.
