Some love the old-style bungalows. Others aren't impressed and say that "new urbanism" is being used as a sales pitch.

New residents say that that the cottages accommodate a community lifestyle. Critics say it is more suitable for Disneyland than for Corona del Mar. New Urbanism purists say that true new urbanism involves "a healthy mix of commercial and residential development, lots of green space and various types of housing." Purists see this project as a very loose new urbanism. But planners have made this a very sellable community.
