Call it "outdoor sculpture," "public art," or "outdoor art," the category has expanded. "This includes increasingly sculptural architecture and ever more dazzling billboards, not to mention those 10-story-high photographs unfurled from buildings all over town. The coup de grâce is Times Square, the world's largest drive-through video installation. What's an outdoor sculpture to do?"
