Officials in the Saudi capital of Riyadh are planning to build a central rail hub with an annual passenger capacity of more than 800,000. The station is expected to be complete by 2013.
The Saudi Railway Company is hoping to secure a builder of the proposed high speed rail hub by the end of the year.
"The station is to be finished in 2013 and will be used by high speed trains that will go up to 200kmph and link to Qassim, Hail, Al-Jouf and Al-Haditha on the Jordanian border."
