Last week, Richard A. Davey Jr. was appointed the new general manager of the MBTA, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The Boston Globe's transportation reporter rides the T with him and talks transit.
Noah Bierman at the Globe asked Davey which transit stop is his favorite:
DAVEY: "The Kendall stop has that great air sculpture, with the wind, when it blows through - right now it's not working but repairs are going to be made, and that will be working again very soon. I think having more public art if possible in the stations - if we could infuse a little more public art, a little more civic pride, I think that would be the way to go. That's a long way of saying I love the Kendall Station."
