A "Softer" Color Scheme for Hotel Facade on Waterfront
"Planners on Tuesday told James W. Pitts that the Erie Basin Wingate Inn needs a "softer" color scheme to make it more compatible with the downtown shoreline.
Some Planning Board members praised many aspects of the $11 million project, saying its proposed red brick facade is one of the few remaining concerns.
Frank Lysiak, a member of the Waterfront Village Advisory Council, submitted a two-page critique of the project to the Planning Board on Tuesday.
