West Hollywood accepted $5.2 million from a developer of a Sunset Blvd. project. Foes are outraged. Courts say it's O.K.

Foes of a three-block development on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, CA., say that the hotel and retail-office project will cause further gridlock along a street already overloaded. They also state that the fee payment could have serious implications through the state. But the court has said that no wrong has been done by the city or by the builder. Foes have vowed to take the case to the Supreme Court.
