Howland Township, Ohio is seeking Statements of Qualifications from professional planning and design firms to provide services for the creation of a Comprehensive Community Plan. The Plan will provide policy and guidance on the physical development of the Township and the services and amenities it provides to its citizens. The intent of this planning initiative is to develop the tools and implementation strategy to become a community of choice and a healthy, active-living community. Issues central to this planning initiative include: (1) annexation; (2)identity development; (3) transportation, mobility, and accessibility; (4) economic development; (5) parks and recreation, and (6) green innovation and technology. Interested firms and/or teams should submit ten (10) hard copies and one electronic copy of their Statement of Qualifications by 4:00 PM on Friday, November 16, 2007 to:
