There will be a new school built on Grand Avenue. It will hold its own with the new cathedral and Disney Hall.

LAUSD will raze its headquarters and build a new high school campus just across the street from the cathedral and Disney Hall. The architect, A.C. Martin, sees this as the opportunity of a lifetime. But the funds for the project are tight, and may limit creativity.
