The Internet has given birth to thousands of business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) sites that now are being joined by a growing number of what might be termed government-to-business, or G2B, sites. Cities, counties, states, and the federal government are creating Web sites or expanding existing sites to provide an ever-increasing flow of online information to companies and businesses, as well as other users.
