"Sherman Plaza consists of an L-shaped 25-story condominium tower with a two-story base containing 153,000 square feet of retail space. The development also includes a 12-story, 1,585-space public parking garage..., Evanston's status as a halfway point between the density of the city and the sprawl of the suburbs is a critical selling point...The city has encouraged development in several ways, ranging from tax increment financing loans to financing parking and other improvements."
