Chavez Ravine, a formerly Mexican neighborhood in Los Angeles, was demolished in the 1950s to make room for Dodger Stadium. Ry Cooder's new album, Chavez Ravine, explores the politics and consequences of urban development, giving voice to key players in the process, including city planners and developers.
