Sunne Wright McPeak's departments include such complex organizations as Caltrans, the CHP, DMV, and the Department of Corporations. In this interview with Metro Investment Report, Secretary McPeak discusses California Governor Schwarzenegger’s Go California transportation initiative and the administrations integrated approach to California’s critical infrastructure needs. The approach, spearheaded by Secretary McPeak and Cal/EPA Secretary Alan Lloyd explicitly relates housing needs, jobs, environmental quality and transportation and encourages public/private partnerships to address infrastructure needs.
