According to a planning analysis, the Sierra Club's open space initiative unlikely to ease traffic and or save agriculture in Alameda County, California. The analysissays that "...could push even more housing development into San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties, leaving Alameda County no way to generate developer fees to combat traffic congestion from Bay Area-bound commuters."
