The Peninsula Open Space Trust plans to purchase 1,719 acres of land along California's San Mateo coast for $39 million.

The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) plans pay $39 Million to purchase 1,719 acres of coastal, agricultural land and grassland along the Highway 1 on San Mateo County coast. "We're working to prevent development and preserve the open, ruralcharacter of the incomparable southern San Mateo Coast," said POSTPresident Audrey Rust.
