Less than two weeks after launching its service to Miami, the Brightline high-speed rail line in southern Florida announced it will increase its service from eight trips per day each way to 15. “Brightline also has stops in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. Additional early morning and late-night trains will operate between these stations.” A trip from Miami to Orlando lasts around three and a half hours, with trains running at speeds of up to 125 miles per hour.

The news signals the popularity of the train line, which connects Orlando and Miami. Brightline, a private company, is the only operational high-speed rail train in the United States. The company is developing a new HSR line linking Los Angeles County and Las Vegas, dubbed Brightline West
