"Getting downtown in the morning on the Silver Line takes approximately 25 percent longer than on the Red, Orange, and Green MBTA lines, according to a weeklong test conducted by the Globe this month."" 'It's better than a bus, but not as convenient as a train,' said Theo Young, a South End resident riding the Silver Line on a recent evening, adding that the vehicles sometimes get bunched up. 'I think the underground would have been better,' he said."
