The Real Cost Of Housing Subsidies

Subsidized low-cost housing costs more than private projects, according to new research.

University of California at Berkeley's center on real estate and urbaneconomics has taken a look at the costs of building low income housingand found that state-subsidized housing costs between 10% and 32% moreto build than private housing projects.
