Redondo Beach Reduces Construction Noise

Stiff penalties for unlawful construction noise has reducednoise violations in Redondo Beach, California.

Redondo Beach officials say that stiff penalties have reduced unlawful construction noise after a two-month crackdown. Constructionis allowed from 7AM to 6PM on weekdays and 9AM to 5PM on Saturdays.Construction activity is not permitted on Sundays. Butthe city's building boom has the residents complaining aboutnoise from construction activity outside of the permitted hours.
