The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has published a list of the 50 most influential tall buildings of the past 50 years.
"Throughout its history, has highlighted best practice examples of tall buildings that represented a significant change in thinking or technique, by means of Journal case studies, conference proceedings, and since 2002, the annual Awards program," according to an article announcing the new list. CTBUH used the same criteria for capturing the buildings included on the list, with input from the CTBUH Research and Data team, CTBUH Leaders, and a call to the organization's at-large member constituency.
The buildings are not ranked, but listed by name with a short description and a photo attached to each. Read the entire list at the source article.
