"The annual report from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has revealed that more tall buildings were completed in 2014 than any previous year on record," according to a post on Dezeen.
To sum, "a chart-busting 97 skyscrapers over 200 metres tall were completed in 2014 – and a record-breaking 58 of them are in China…"
2011 held the record previously, with 81 buildings over 200 metres completed. The report predicts that 2015 will be an even taller year.
