It's legal to smoke marijuana in Nevada, but the adult tourists traveling to Las Vegas have had a hard time finding places to smoke marijuana legally.

Ken Ritter reports that the city of Las Vegas recently approved social uses of marijuana. The "social use venues" will not be allowed in casinos, where alcohol is served, or on the Strip (which located outside the city of Las Vegas). Hotel rooms also prohibit the use of marijuana in the city.
With the approval of social use venues, Las Vegas follows in the footsteps of Denver, San Francisco, and a few other towns in California and Alaska.
Social use venues will require a little more time to open. There are about licensed recreational marijuana sales dispensaries in the city Las Vegas.
