A group of European and American urban designers met in Bruges to discuss New Urbanism and traditional design in Europe.
"A group of around 75 European and American architects and urbandesigners spent much of last week in a basement in Bruges (below) during5 days of intensive discussion about New Urbanism and traditional designin Europe. The sessions included presentations and criticism of builtand unbuilt projects and discussions on the progress of urban design.The result was the founding on April 6, 2003 of the Council for EuropeanUrbanism."
