"NASA expects to build 1,930 or more housing units on a 45-acre federal site at Moffett Field," reports Richard Scheinin. "The new campus would consist entirely of rental units, with 10 percent designated as affordable."
is pitching the project as a way to put a dent in the Silicon Valley's housing crisis, and is promising to give housing preference "to those who work or go to school on Ames-owned property, including Ames civil service and contractor employees, as well as the local public."
