Barcelona celebrates the unusual and daring architecture of Antoni Gaudi.

"Although Gaudi built less than two dozen buildings during his 43-year career, most of which are in or around Barcelona, his impact was enormous -- ranging from Germany's expressionist architectural school, to surrealist artist Joan Miro. 'Among his generation, he had the greatest architectural strength,' said France's Le Corbusier, an admirer of Gaudi's forms and his ingenious use of light and ventilation."
