"To bolster its case, the BRA has convened a 19-member task force, composed of developers, community leaders, and former BRA chiefs to compile recommendations for the agency's future. The BRA argues that, despite missteps, its power has been crucial in creating thousands of affordable apartments in the South End and Roxbury and such projects as Quincy Market, the New England Aquarium, the Long Wharf Marriott, Madison Park High School, and the Park Plaza Hotel."
