2015 IAH Final Four Jury and Awards Presentation
HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research
PD&R is pleased to announce the team finalist presentations for the 2nd annual Innovation in Affordable Housing Student Design and Planning Competition (IAH). The competition aims to encourage research and innovation in affordable housing, raise practitioner and future practitioner capacity, and foster cross-cutting teamwork within the design and community development process while endeavoring to raise the consciousness of affordable housing at universities. Multidisciplinary graduate student teams developed plans for a new construction or gut rehab of a senior housing development managed by the Houma-Terrebonne Housing Authority.
Four teams of finalists will represent their universities on April 21, 2015 before a jury of practitioners. The winner and runner-up of the IAH competition will be announced at the conclusion of the event.
Finalist teams represent the following universities:
- University of Minnesota
- New York University
- University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
- University of Kansas
