Friday Facepalm: Ironic Bike Lane Block Edition

A couple of months ago we told you about a new bicycle safety campaign being run by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). Apparently the memo didn't go out to Metro's bus drivers.

Reddit user Digitaltechnique posted the astonishing picture below to the social news and entertainment website this week. And our friends at LAist were kind enough to bring it to our attention.  

"So basically, not only are all lanes bike lanes, they're bus lanes, too," says Lauren Lloyd. "It's the Bicycle Master Plan and Metro's recently launched cyclist awareness campaign hard at work, folks."
