"On September 11, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority...and Arlington County are unveiling a new service called NextBus that is designed to make taking the bus a far more predictable experience. Made possible by NextBus Information Systems, Inc., the new, high-tech system utilizes satellite and global positioning system (GPS) technology to track buses' real-time progress and let people know -- with 95 percent accuracy -- when the bus is really going to be at the bus stop, rather than when it?s scheduled to be there."
