The City of El Cerrito Redevelopment Agency is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Qualifications/Proposals for the development of an affordable residential mixed-use development on Redevelopment Agency-owned land. The RFQ/P and other relevant information is available on the City of El Cerrito's Housing webpage at http://www.el-cerrito.org/redev/housing.html

Centered on the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay, El Cerrito is a small, well-educated community with excellent access to transit, abundant amenities for residents and a long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability. The Agency desires the development of a high-quality, mixed-use project on the subject site to complement recent development along the City's primary commercial corridor.

Submissions must be received no later than Monday, June 21, 2010 by 4:00pm (PST). There will be an optional site tour on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 for interested development teams.
