The Northern Way policy would "put a £100 million growth fund in the hands of three of Britains regional development agencies, covering the North East, the North West and the Yorkshire and Humber Regions.
... What the Northern Way exercise is exposing is the need in each of these regions for development of the infrastructure and a return to employment in industries such as construction and mining."
