San Luis Obispo voters appear to have rejected highly controversial big-box development by slim margin.
For now, a large retail project, including a Target, Old Navy, Lowes, 60 housing units, and 54 acres of open space has been turned down by voters in San Luis Obispo. The Dalidio Ranch Marketplace had approval of the City Council, but was put before voters because of worries of the possible impact the center may have on downtown businesses.
