EPA announced five winners of the 2004 National Awards for Smart GrowthAchievement at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. This Award recognizes outstandingachievement in smart growth by tribal, local, or regional governments in five categories: Overall Excellence, Built Projects, Policies and Regulation, Community Outreach and Education, and Small Communities.
