"I have no doubt that Bush believes he is doing the right thing. But his belief is disconnected from reality. I can only conclude that Bush either does not know or understand the long-term consequences of his policies, or he is deliberately misleading Americans for crass political and economic gain. His actions, not his words, must direct our response."
