The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is buying a 30-unit building to use for supportive housing, reports Will Conybeare in KTLA.

According to Conybeare, “HACLA announced Monday that they were able to secure a $9 million state grant to acquire the building, located at 630 N. Oxford Ave., under California’s Homekey+ initiative, which functions as a support for communities to expand their permanent supportive housing supply as well as services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.”

The building was recently completed and includes 28 units and 2 accessory dwelling units. “Future residents will have access to supportive services, including intensive case management, behavioral and physical health services, thanks to People Assisting the Homeless.”
