Taipei Rolls Out Futuristic Subway System

As part of Taiwan's effort to establish itself in the Pacific Rim, the Taipei Rapid Transit Corp. and Cathay United Bank have created one of the most advanced and service-oriented mass transit systems in the world. The new subway stops, set to open later this year, feature full-service ATMs that make change, wireless internet, and other amenities. Cathay Life Insurance will provide million-dollar coverage for all passengers.
